cookies on plate

On Friday Lori was at work while I headed to Newfield to do some trim painting.  I was pleasantly surprised by a visit from Midge, Baroness of a vast neighboring timber and agricultural tract.  If that weren’t enough, she brought her famous Doctor Midge’s Miracle Cookies.  I can objectively state that they increased the pace of my painting by 47%, reduced my cholesterol, and postponed my need for intravenous Scotch for several days.  They’re so good, I suspect they commit some kind of sinful felony.  Knowing Midge intended the cookies for both Lori and me, I brought all two of them home to share.  (Heh, heh.)
